Monadnock Community Hospital sends a big thank you to the Grand Monadnock Rotary Club members for giving 540 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to MCH, enough for every employee to enjoy a box.
The official Cookie Van arrived at MCH March 7, where Rotarians had gathered to help unload the cookies. Distribution the next day brought lots of smiles to our staff members at the hospital campus and our practices in Antrim, Jaffrey and Rindge. The gift comes through the Hometown Heroes program with the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains.
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. The Rotary mission is “Service Above Self,” and their members take on many service projects to benefit our community. Early on in the pandemic, the Grand Monadnock Rotary Club distributed thousands of free cloth masks to the community in a weekend giveaway event. We are grateful for the contributions of Rotary and the Girl Scouts. This partnership is another great example of how we really are all in this together.
