ConVal High School’s Adult Diploma Program was awarded a grant that could allow the district to offer night classes to students and adults from the surrounding communities who have not completed their high school diplomas. If there is enough interest to run these classes, students and eligible adults would have the opportunity to recover credits for classes they may have previously failed, take a class to get ahead on credits/graduate with their cohort or complete credit requirements for their high school diploma.

ConVal ADP is considering offering night classes this spring in the following areas:  English for students/adults looking for credits in English 9, 10, 11 or an English elective, social studies for students/adults looking for credits in U.S. History, American Government and Economics or Global Studies, HiSET tutoring for students/adults looking to be eligible to take the official HiSET Test may and math for students/adults looking for credits across across levels of algebra.

Classes would run for 10 to 12 weeks, one night a week, three hours per class on a day of week to be determined by the course teacher. The anticipated start date for courses will either be the week of March 14 or 21. Courses would run through June 6. For adults or students not currently enrolled at ConVal High School, there will be a registration fee of $150 per course.

People interested in taking night classes at ConVal this spring should fill out the Adult Diploma Program Night Classes Google Form, as the district will not be able to run courses if there is not enough interest.
