Actress Lisa Bostnar will be the next speaker in Jaffrey Civic Center’s eight-part “Stories to Share” program, featuring unique individuals from the Monadnock Region.
On Friday, March 4, from 5 to 7 p.m., Bostnar will present “My Life In The Theatre-or-Has Anyone Seen My Tiara?” She has had roles both on the stage and on the screen, including appearances on television shows like “Law and Order,” “The Blacklist” and “Criminal Intent.” Locally, she has performed with Peterborough Players.
Durng her talk, Bostnar will share tales of her journey, including photos and clips of her work. Her talk is the sixth in the center’s monthly speaker series, which is held on the first Friday of each month from October to May. Joe Steinfield, who writes monthly columns for the Keene Sentinel and the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript, is the moderator for the series.
The program will be available as an in-person event at the Jaffrey Civic Center, 40 Main St., as well as via Zoom. Registration is required, and for this event, the center is requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Masks will also be required. The program is free, but to help support this event and others like it, donations are appreciated.
