President Joe Biden, after 13 months, has shown himself to be a decent and honorable man. As our president, we can trust him to always try to do the right and honorable thing for the sake of all the people, not just the privileged few.

We all have access to free masks and free vaccines to fight the pandemic, if we choose to take advantage of it. He has passed part of his overall infrastructure bill that addresses the needs of rails, roads and bridges, the expansion of broadband coverage to include as much of the population as possible, to eliminate all lead pipes in our homes, schools and workplaces and give all Americans clean and safe drinking water, as well as fighting climate change. The bill is going to be putting more than $1 trillion into our economy through the next 10 years, paid for without additional taxes.

He tried desperately to get through common-sense voting legislation that would have given everyone a chance to be able to vote easily and unimpeded in free and fair elections in every state, and he won’t give up until it is passed. He is standing up to Vladimir Putin and Putin knows that Russia will pay a very dear price if they invade Ukraine. He is striving every day to make this country a more-perfect union. He is no Superman; he is an ordinary human being, with all of the innate human faults, that all of us have. But he is truly trying to do the best for our country, and just like our fictional hero, Superman, he will always be  fighting for truth, justice and the American way.
