A collection of Lawrence Bickford’s water images will be the featured exhibit at the Hancock Town Library from Dec. 4 to Jan. 12. There will be an opening reception in the Daniels Room Sunday, Dec. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Bickford’s interest in photography began at a young age, but 40 years in the classroom left little time for camera work. Now retired, he finds more time to chase the light. As he gathered photos for this exhibit, he developed a theme of water as the tie that binds, as mirror, as fog, as carrier and in motion.

Bickford’s work can be viewed at 500px.com/lawrencebickford and lbickford.zenfolio.com.

The exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours of Monday and Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call the library at 603-525-4411 before visiting to ensure no special events are scheduled at that time.

The library will follow COVID guidelines and restrictions that are current at the time of exhibits.
