Both the Country Mile and Dunkin Donuts on Fitchburg Road in Greenville were robbed at some point overnight on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

Early Wednesday morning, at about 3:30 a.m., a Dunkin Donuts employee was opening the store at 750 Fitchburg Road in Greenville. While opening, the employee realized someone had gained entry to the store overnight, and money left in the cash register was missing, according to Temple-Greenville police.

The employee alerted 911, and the New Hampshire State Police responded to investigate. During the investigation of the Dunkin Donuts robbery, an employee of the Country Mile, which is located adjacent to the Dunkin Donuts at 758 Fitchburg Road, opened and employees saw that they had also been robbed. An officer from the Temple-Greenville Police Department responded to assist with the investigations.

According to police both businesses had a small amount of cash taken. both are currently under investigation by New Hampshire State Police and the Temple-Greenville Police. Anyone with any information should contact police at 603-878-2324.
