Antrim Grange #98 will hold their annual Penny Sale on Saturday, Sept. 5, but in a very different fashion this year.

The sale used to be held in the Grange Hall but that is still under restoration and over the past few years, it has been held in the town hall but with COVID concerns that is not possible. So, the Grange has decided to take it outside. The Penny Sale will be set up on Saturday, Sept. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Antrim Presbyterian Church lawn. This is a one day only event this year.

Tickets are $2 per sheet and $10 for six sheets. There are 25 tickets and one door prize ticket per sheet so lots of chances to win great prizes! There will be an array of household items, puzzles, gift certificates, jewelry, hand made items, and so much more to put your tickets in for a chance to win. The will also be a couple of door prize choices to put your door prize tickets in. Winners will be picked at 3 p.m. on Saturday, but you do not need to be present to win. Winners will be posted on the Antrim Grange Facebook page and called. Pick up of any items won for anyone not present will take place Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Grange Hall on Route 31.

The money raised from this sale will support the Grangeโ€™s dictionary project that provides a dictionary to each 3rd grader in Antrim and Bennington and also benefit the hall restoration.
