ConVal’s graduation is scheduled for Aug. 8 on the high school football field. Graduates may bring two family members to sit with, and everyone attending must wear a mask, according to guidelines for the event that were recently released by Graduation Committee Advisors Deb Coyne and Judy Heddy. The Class of 2020 will receive a special mask to wear during the ceremony and arrivals will be staggered for the 6 p.m. event with preregistration required, according to guidelines. Nobody will be allowed to congregate in the field or parking lot after the event. “We understand there are a lot of rules and protocols to follow; however, it is out intention to give you as normal a graduation as possible,” the advisors wrote.
