The Antrim Historical Society will celebrate Independence Day with the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Bandstand on Jameson Avenue.

Free coffee and tea will be served beginning at 8:30, and at 9 a.m., the Boy Scout Color Guard of Troop 2 will lead everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance and the presentation of the colors, which will be followed by the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner. At 9:15 a.m., the reading of the Declaration of Independence will begin.

The Antrim Historical Society asks that those attending adhere to the CDC guidelines by wearing a mask and social distance from other families.
