To the editor:
There’s no point in responding to the frequent letter writer that consistently rejects fact-based climate science, especially when he recently stated: “With our education, media and entertainment establishments thoroughly infected with Marxist propagandists, our youth are unprepared to preserve our relatively free society for themselves and posterity.” This is ridiculously insulting. Life’s too short – we need to reverse the environmental damage we’ve caused so that future generations of people, animals and plants will have a chance to survive. I’ll admit his “earth is cooling” argument is so wildly disconnected from reality that it made me laugh as I remembered the scene in ‘Animal House’ where Kevin Bacon gets trampled as he yells “All is well! Remain calm! All is well!”
