Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders announced a presidential campaign stop at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge scheduled for Monday, the eve of the New Hampshire primary.
Sanders, who emerged from the Iowa caucus in a virtual tie with Pete Buttigieg amidst uncertainty surrounding the final tallies, plans to hold a town hall at FPU’s field house Monday at 12 p.m. The event is open to the public; doors open at 11 a.m. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is encouraged. Entrance is provided on a first come, first served basis. For more information or to RSVP, visit events.berniesanders.com/event/224541.
Sanders was atop the four major New Hampshire primary polls conducted by Suffolk, Monmouth, Saint Anselm and Franklin Pierce this week, leading the FPU poll at 31 percent, with Joe Biden (24 percent), Elizabeth Warren (17 percent) and Buttigieg (eight percent) following.
