Project Shakespeare is now accepting students of all ages for their 2020 Spring After School /Home School Class – Shakespeare In Performance. This marks Project Shakespeare’s 6th year offering high quality theatre education for public school and homeschool students.
Founder and Director, Deborah Shakespeare Thurber will lead this class for students ages 7 and up on Thursdays March 5-26 and April 2 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The final class (dress rehearsal) will be on Wednesday, April 8 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Classes will be held in the Rindge Meeting House located in the First Congregational Church of Rindge, 6 Payson Hill Road, Rindge. This class will include theatre games and the rehearsal and performance of one of Shakespeare’s plays. Plays under consideration are “As You Like It” and “Macbeth”. Tuition for the six classes and showcase is $150; sibling discount $125. Scholarships are available. There will be a limit of 12 students accepted into this class. Scheduling may be subject to change depending on the students’ schedules.
