A Jaffrey man was sentenced to up to 30 years in prison Friday for possessing videos depicting child sexual abuse.
Todd White, 48, appeared in Cheshire Superior Court in Keene Friday, where he was found guilty on ten charges of possession of child sexual abuse images related to graphic, violent videos found on his computer.
White must serve a minimum of eight years in state prison and register as a sex offender upon his release.
White was arrested in Jaffrey in January after his internet service provider sent a tip to the NH Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force prompting the execution of a search warrant at White’s Main Street residence on Jan. 25 by members of ICAC, Jaffrey police, Cheshire County Sheriff’s Office, and US Department of Homeland Security.
Jaffrey police said the videos had been downloaded from the internet and that the minors in the images were not people that White knows.
