To the editor:
I want to thank the Greenfield Sportsman’s Club, and in particular Gary and Karen Russell, for their support during my illness.
The duck race held in my honor was an incredible gesture, and my family thanks you not only for the generous gift, but for the work and time it must have taken to put the event together.
Having support from local people means so much. We also want to thank whoever donated their winnings of a Thanksgiving dinner from the Sportsman’s Club raffle.
Again, such a generous and thoughtful gesture is appreciated, and my family is very grateful for everyone’s support during this time.
Thank you all so much for your kindness and generosity, and for being the wonderful people that you are.
