The Keene Cheshiremen, an a cappella chorus, has been singing four-part harmony for the greater Keene community for more than 68 years.
Again this year they are inviting any man of any age to join them on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. for its “Songs of the Season” 2019 Christmas show. How? Simply by learning two or three songs through short “lessons” over the next seven weeks (Oct. 29 through Dec. 10).
They provide all you need; music, audio tracks, instruction, support, encouragement and fun. Participants will need to hold pitch and attend at least six rehearsals – about an hour each.
The Cheshiremen meet every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship, 25 Roxbury St., The Holiday Concert will be Saturday, Dec. 14 at the United Church of Christ.
For more, call Meissner at (603) 499-3633, visit Keene.Cheshiremen.org or or just show up on Tuesday.
