I offer my heartfelt thanks to the many people who attended Gil’s memorial service, offered their concern for me and our families, helped feed the congregation, donated to the Neil Maranville Scholarship fund in his memory, and provided concrete help when it was much needed and hard to give.
It’s been a difficult time for us, but the fellowship of friends and neighbors has helped me and Gil’s immediate family get through it. Gil loved Greenfield and we hope to see the fondness and duty he felt in serving the town carried on by others.
Big shoes to fill – literally and figuratively.
My enduring thanks,
Margaret A. Charig Bliss
Greenfield
