Project Shakespeare’s 25th anniversary summer season has begun rehearsals for their two summer productions of “Twelfth Night” and “The Tempest”. This summer’s company, featuring students ages 10-18 years old, include: Molly Burman, Kaia Colby, Arial Geissler, Abigail Hampson, Braeden and Travis Hatfield, Grace Lewis, Ruby Mack, Alyssia Maki, Seamus Malloy, Helen Martynuska, Harold Thomas McCarthy, Benjamin Michaud, Lif Petrova, Yar Petrov, Grace Ramsden, Aram Russell, Aurora Sousa, Anna Taylor, Arianna Wentworth, Indigo Wolf and Kali Zaffrann. Students reside in Jaffrey, Rindge, Peterborough, Greenfield, Greenville, Hancock, New Ipswich, and Keene.

Project Shakespeare’s opening reception will be held on Friday, July 26 at 6 p.m. at The Jaffrey Civic Center, 40 Main St., Jaffrey. Admission is free; donations are accepted. The evening’s events will include a stage combat demonstration, scenes from “Twelfth Night” and “The Tempest” plus a reading from “King Lear”. Performances will begin July 24 and run through Aug. 4 in various venues in Jaffrey, Rindge, Peterborough, Hancock, Greenfield, Harrisville and Fitzwilliam.
