To the editor:
Publishing Ross Wilkinson’s slander of the ConVal graduating students’ and their chosen courageous graduation speaker is a sad affirmation of the conservative agenda for “Fair and Balanced” reporting that is anything but.
It is a FACT that 97% of climate scientists agree that climate crisis (not change) is real and that human activity is causing it. By publishing more than 3 lines of Wilkinson’s letter you have provided him a dramatically unfair and unbalanced platform from which he is spewing his misanthropic and ultimately destructive point of view.
He states his case as if he has the facts, when in truth, he only has his opinions. To focus on just one of his “cases”, in which he mock’s Al Gore’s 10-year prediction, you should take up the truth of that with the midwest farmers, the Australian agricultural department, or the Alaskan Inuit and Pacific Islanders who are losing their homes. That looks like a disaster to me.
Wilkinson is only showing his limited view of the world in his specious assertions. Shame on you for giving him a pulpit! You are helping him to bury us all!!!!
