The Peterborough Farmers Market opened early this year, with the first market of the season on Wednesday. The market has a wide variety of baked goods from substantial breads to sticky buns, granola and bars to biscotti and cookies. There will be beef, pork, chicken and lamb. Fresh eggs. Honey and maple syrup. Jams and jellies. Homemade candies. Craft beers. Yarns, lambskins and handmade wool crafts. Dog biscuits and chews. Hand crafted jewelry and beaded chains for meditation. Herbal salves, tinctures and lip balms. And, new this year, you will find greenhouse-grown fresh spring greens.

You’ll find the market outside at the Peterborough Community Center, 25 Elm St., from 3 to 6 p.m. every Wednesday.
