A juvenile from New Ipswich sustained non-life threatening injuries during an OHRV incident on Sunday afternoon.
New Ipswich Police Chief Timothy Carpenter said Tuesday that officers were called to the class VI portion of West Binney Hill Road near the Rindge town line around 3:30 p.m.
Carpenter said the juvenile sustained a lower-body injury after trying to prevent an OHRV from sliding down a hill. The OHRV had been parked on an icy hill, Carpenter said.
“The juvenile jumped on it to stop it from sliding,” Carpenter said.
Carpenter said there was another occupant on the OHRV that was not injured.
