Warrant articles

■Article 1 asks voters to choose all town officers.

■Article 2 asks voters to spend $2,568,394 for the town’s operating budget.

■Article 3 asks voters to spend $80,000 to purchase a new certified used backhoe loader. The backhoe would be paid for with a loan. A two-thirds ballot vote is required.

■Article 4 asks voters to spend $60,000 to make repairs to Duncan Road. The road repairs would be paid for with a loan. A two-thirds ballot vote is required.

■Article 5 asks voters to spend $45,000 to purchase and outfit a new police vehicle; $20,000 will come from an insurance claim from a prior police cruiser totaled in a crash and the remaining $25,000 will be raised through taxation.

■Article 6 asks voters to spend $35,000 to design and implement a public WiFi network in the greater downtown area; $15,000 will come from a pledged grant from the Hancock Improvement Association and the balance will be raised via taxation.

■Article 7 asks voters to spend up to $35,000 to purchase municipal fund accounting software.

■Article 8 asks voters to take $20,000 from the Amidon Annex Cemetery Capital Reserve Fund to continue initial site work of the Amidon Annex property needed for future cemetery use.

■Article 9 asks voters to raise $8,100 to fund a fireworks display on or around July 6, 2019; $4,300 will come from the Fireworks Expendable Trust Fund and the balance will come from taxation.

■Article 10 asks voters to add $5,000 for the Meetinghouse Capital Reserve Fund.

■Article 11 asks voters to adopt the 2018 draft of the Hancock Mandatory Recycling and Transfer Station Ordinance.

■Article 12 asks voters to modify the veterans tax credit from $300 to $500.

■Article 13 asks voters to raise $5,000 to support the Grapevine Family and Community Resource Center.

■Article 14 asks voters to raise $1,000 to support the Grapevine Family and Community Resource Center Avenue A.

■Article 15 asks voters to raise $500 to support the Community volunteer Transportation Company.

■Article 16 asks voters to raise $675 to support Hundred Nights, Inc. This article was submitted by petition.

■Article 17 asks voters to take $435 from the Baseball Special Revenue Fund to purchase baseball equipment and maintenance for the baseball fields.

■Article 18 asks voters to take $2,727 fro the Recreation Special Revenue Fund  for repairs and replacement of recreational facilities.

■Article 19 asks voters to take $4,386 from the Hi ghway Special Revenue Fund for repairs and replacement of town highway equipment.

■Article 20 asks voters to take $3,740 from the History Special Revenue Fund for preservation and storage of the town’s archival records.

■Article 21 asks voters to take $4,749 from the Police Special Revenue Fund for repairs and replacement of police equipment.
