A Dublin man has been indicted on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to dispense.
On Feb. 13, a Hillsborough Superior Court Grand Jury indicted Nicholas Adams, 30, of Dublin, on one charge of possession of a controlled drug with intent to dispense.
The charge alleges that on Oct. 5 Adams had possession of more than one ounce of marijuana, which he intended to sell.
Possession with intent to dispense is a class S felony and can carry penalties of up to three and a half to seven years in prison and $100,000 in fines.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt or innocence but a ruling by a grand jury that there is sufficient evidence to bring a case to trial.
