The Rindge Police Department participated in the Special Olympics torch run on Thursday, with officers ferrying the torch from Emma’s 321Pub & Kitchen  in Rindge to the 8th Circuit Court in Jaffrey. “It’s such a great cause, to try to raise awareness and funds for the Special Olympics,” said Sgt. Jeff Seppala, who organized the run, which is an annual event for the Rindge Police Department. “When you see a kid getting their award, the looks on their faces, it makes it all worth it.” Participants in the torch run, from left to right are Officer Craig Tucker, who drove the escort police cruiser, John Ciarcia, Max Rocheleau, Dan Anair, Melissa Seppala, Dannielle West, Hnou Seppala, Jeff Seppala and Jana Seppala.
