The case of Rindge man accused of sexually assaulting someone under the age of 15 in Connecticut will need at least one more court date until a resolution is reached.

James Saucier, 19, appeared at the Connecticut Superior Court, Middlesex Judicial District on Friday, according to court officials, with another pretrial date being set for Aug. 23.

Saucier was arrested by Rindge police on Jan. 13 on a warrant out of Middletown, Connecticut. He was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.

He was extradicted to Connecicut on Feb. 1, where he would be arraigned in Superior Court the next day.

The alleged incident occured on Oct. 31, 2016. 

Saucier has entered a plea of not guilty, which he did on March 2.
