There are three positions in the Jaffrey-Rindge School District that will be up for election in March.
There are two open positions on the Jaffrey-Rindge School Board this year. Both seats are three-year terms.
Incumbent Charlie Eicher’s Rindge seat is up for a vote.
A Jaffrey seat, presently held by Marsha Griffin is up for grabs.
The job of district moderator is also up for a vote this year. The one-year term is currently held by Robert Shaumann.
The first day to file declarations of candidacy or nomination petitions with the district is Wednesday, Jan. 25. The last day for filing is Friday, Feb. 3.
Both town’s elections will be held on Tuesday, March 14. The voting process in Jaffrey will run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the VFW and in Rindge at Rindge Memorial School from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
