JAFFREYSeven town positions open

Voters will fill seven spots on town boards and committee on March 14 during town elections.

A three-year Select Board position presently held by Don MacIsaac is up for a vote.

A three-year term on the Trustees of the Trust Fund is up for grabs. William Raymond is the incumbent.

Incumbent Library Trustee Tammy Cummingsโ€™ term is up. The position is for three years.

The three-year Town Clerk term is up for re-election. Kelly Rollins is the incumbent.

The treasurer position is due for re-election in 2017. The position, a three-year term, is currently held by Sandra Stewart.

Two Supervisors of the Checklist positions will be filled: a two-year and six-year term.

The first day to file declarations of candidacy or nomination petitions with the town clerk is Wednesday, Jan. 25. The last day for filing is Friday, Feb. 3, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The town election will be held on Tuesday, March 14. The voting process will run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the VFW.
