An incredible game from sophomore Lindsey Carey helped the ConVal girls’ basketball team rally for a comback win against Stevens — the Cougars’ first victory of the season.
Down 15-2 after the first quarter, ConVal buckled down on defense and got 28 points from Carey to win 49-43. Carey also had 11 boards. Senior captain Hannah Reinfrank had 14 rebounds and 8 points.
ConVal (1-6) travels to Windham (3-3) tonight at 5 p.m.
