The Peterborough area chapter of 100+ Women Who Care will meet on Jan. 26 to decide on its first quarterly donation of 2017.
The meeting will be held at a new location: Peterborough Players, 55 Hadley Road, Peterborough. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the meeting takes place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The group, whose membership now exceeds 170 women who care, meets quarterly and collectively chooses an organization to receive funding, after hearing presentations made by three area nonprofit organizations. Last quarter, The Community Volunteer Transportation Company received more than $9,000 from the group.
Guests are invited to attend the meeting, with no registration required, and may join at any time before the voting commences .
