The Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Dinner Meeting on Friday, February 17 at the Shattuck Golf Club in Jaffrey.

This event will honor the Chamber’s Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year and recipient of the Nonprofit Award for 2015. In addition, attendees will vote on the Chamber’s new slate of officers and directors.

Keynote speaker will be Leaf Seligman, a Jaffrey resident, who has taught writing at the college level since 1985 and currently teaches a course in Forgiveness and Reconciliation at Keene State and related courses through the CALL (Cheshire Academy for Lifelong Learning) program.

In 2015, she helped found Monadnock Restorative Community, whose vision is a community restored to wholeness where every member can flourish. MRC operates a mentoring program for women coming out of jail and engages groups like this in the larger question of how we as community members can remove barriers to successful recovery and re-entry.

The Chamber Annual Dinner kicks off at 5:30 pm for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner and the business meeting. The cost for the evening is $45 per person, and the public is cordially invited. Reservations can be made by calling the Jaffrey Chamber at 532-4549 or by registering online at www.jaffreychamber.com.

Several sponsorship levels are available for promoting your business at the meeting. Top levels include complimentary tickets, display of company banners, recognition at the meeting and in all press releases and advertising, and more. Being a sponsor is an excellent way to increase your visibility in the Monadnock region, attract new business, and be recognized as a community leader.
