Superintendent Kimberly Saunders said staff and students have expressed concern over Principal Brian Pickering’s leave last week.
“People are concerned,” Superintendent Kimberly Saunders said on Wednesday. “But things are happening business-as-usual and they are proceeding as Brian would hope.”
She said Pickering’s leave is paid.
There is no additional information at this time about why Pickering is on leave, nor how long he will be out for. In the interim, the school’s Dean of Faculty Gib West is handling principal duties.
