On Wednesday, the longest night of the year, The Monadnock Area Transitional Shelter will sponsor a vigil to remember the homeless men and women who have died in our state during the past year.
The public is invited to the brief candlelight event on the steps of the Peterborough Town House. At 5 p.m. a proclamation from the governor will be read, along with the names of those who have died in 2016.
