The Vikings’ relentless three-point attack continued Friday against Hillsboro-Deering, as Mascenic routed their opponents 75-35.
Freshman Trey Shaw went 7-11 from three for 21 points in the game. Senior captain Daimon Gibson nailed another five threes for 15 points and added seven assists and four steals. Senior captain Brett Stauffeneker scored another 14 points, going a perfect 5-5 on two-point field goals and adding six rebounds and a block.
Mascenic (3-0) faced ConVal (0-1) last night after press time. The Vikings host undefeated Stevens, a rising force in Division III, on Jan. 3 at 7 p.m.
