The Conant swim team had an excellent first meet swimming against Keene, Souhegan, and Monadnock high schools. The men’s team beat both Souhegan and Monadnock. The women’s team beat both Keene and Monadnock.
“Many swimmers made personal best times, even though it is the start of the season,” said head coach Margie Clark-Kevan said.
Also, two swimmers already qualified for states. Kristyn Simoneau qualified in both her 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Brent Smith qualified in his 100 Butterfly.
Conant swims on Friday night at 4 p.m. in Londonderry against Londonderry, Campbell, Pelham, and Portsmouth High Schools.
