From Dec. 9 to 11, a collection of over 40 themed Christmas trees decorated by individuals, businesses, churches and organizations in the Peterborough area will be on display at the Peterborough Community Center, 25 Elm St.
The Trees in Twilight opening reception will be Dec. 9, from 7 p.m to 9 p.m. It will showcase the magical glow of the trees and feature finger foods donated by Peterborough restaurants. Admission on Friday night is $10.
On Saturday and Sunday, admission is free and includes complimentary baked goods and kids’ crafts, visits with Santa, hayrides, live entertainment and raffles. On Saturday, hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Check the Peterborough Recreation Department page at www.townofpeterborough.com for the specific hours for Santa and hayrides. All proceeds and donations will benefit the Peterborough Community Center.
