To the editor:
We wish to thank Dennis Markaverich of the Wilton Town Hall Theater and the Temple Dance Band for the wonderful concert last Saturday afternoon in the theater, put on for the benefit of the Open Cupboard Pantry.
The dance band members play because they love to, and this was obvious in the exciting music performed from the ’30’s, ’40’s, and ’50’s, If there were any loose seats in the theater, they are looser now – the music was so infectious that concertgoers fairly danced in their seats. One couple couldn’t resist jitterbugging in the back of the theater, and children danced between the rows!
The Open Cupboard Pantry is a food source for families in need who live in Temple, Wilton, Lyndeborough, and Greenfield. The proceeds from this exciting event will mean much to many. Thank you.
