The American Red Cross urges eligible donors to give the perfect gift this holiday season – a lifesaving blood or platelet donation. By rolling up a sleeve, donors can help ensure patients continue to receive treatment.
To encourage donations around Thanksgiving, those who come to give blood or platelets from Nov. 24-28 will be emailed a set of recipes from celebrity chef partners, such as Mario Batali. Local blood drives include:
Dec. 10: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., United Church of Jaffrey, 54 Main St.
Dec. 12: 1:30 p.m., Dublin School, 18 Lehmann Way.
