A Massachusetts woman has been indicted by the Cheshire Superior Court on charges relating to an incident in Jaffrey in July when she was in possession of a number of different kind of drugs.

Kristin F. Rizzuti, 30, was indicted on two charges of possession of a controlled drug (buprenorphine), possession of a controlled drug (crack cocaine), and possession of a controlled drug (marijuana).

Possession of buprenorphine and crack cocaine are class B felonies and possession of marijuana is a class A misdemeanor.

Thomas Rogers, 30, whose last known address was Keene, was indicted on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, escape, and breach of bail, after he allegedly stole a truck on May 11, 2015.

After the alleged theft, Rogers fled from police custody and relocated to Virginia.

Theft is a class A felony. Escape is a class A misdemeanor. Breach of bail is a class A misdemeanor.

Darren Esslinger, 22, of Jaffrey, was indicted on a burglary charge after he allegedly entered a Jaffrey property on July 11, 2016. Burglary is a class B felony.

Brittney Lafreniere, 18, of Jaffrey, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled drug (subxone) after being found in possession of the drug in Jaffrey in May 2016. Possession of a controlled drug is a special level felony.

Indictments are not an indicator of guilt or innocence, but show that a grand jury found there was enough evidence of a crime to bring the case to trial.
