The no. 19 nationally-ranked Franklin Pierce University men’s soccer team ended their successful season on a high note with a 4-1 comeback victory against Northeast-10 Conference opponent Assumption on Friday night.
With the win, the Ravens end the year at 11-4-0, 9-4-0 in league play. Franklin Pierce locks up the no. 4 seed in the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Tournament and will host no. 5 Southern New Hampshire University in the NE-10 Quarterfinals on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
In their lone matchup of the season, the unranked Ravens upset the previously no. 2 nationally ranked Penmen 1-0.
FPU last hosted a quarterfinal match in 2011.
