To the editor:
We are supporting Dan Weeks for Executive Council in New Hampshire. As you may know, the Executive Council is a very powerful group of five people who have the power to kill legislation that has been passed by the N.H. House, the N.H. Senate, and signed by the governor. Dan Weeks is running against David Wheeler.
Dan Weeks supports clean renewable energy, which will help to slow the dangerous effects of climate change, which is, in a large part, caused by the burning of fossil fuels. Solar and wind power reduce the use of fossil fuels and thus help to slow climate change. Climate change is very real, and is causing stronger tornados and hurricanes, and promotes drought in some areas, while causing flooding in other areas. Climate change is also causing many species extinctions and human health issues. David Wheeler has helped to block the development of clean renewable energy. Dan Weeks wants to increase clean renewable energy. Please vote for Dan Weeks on Nov. 8.
