Franklin Pierce women’s golfer Zoe Yamamoto and men’s golfer Keeton Foster have been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookies of the Week, it was announced Tuesday afternoon by the league offices.
This is the third time Yamamoto has been named the top rookie and second time for Foster.
Yamamoto competed at the Big Apple Lady Invitational last weekend hosted by Merrimack College and fired a 163 (+19), good enough for a tie of 28th place out of 81 golfers.
Foster competed at both days of the NEIGA Championships on Cape Cod this week. He tied for 11th place at 155 (+11) to help Franklin Pierce finish fifth.
