Mascenic senior captain Daimon Gibson scored on a free kick in regulation and again in overtime to give the Vikings a 3-2 win over Monadnock on Tuesday.
Nathan Wilkins also put one in the net for Mascenic.
The Vikings (7-8) have clinched a playoff spot. Mascenic hosts Sanborn (6-9) Friday at 4 p.m. A win would cement the 11th spot in DIII; a loss would put the Vikes in a tiebreaker situation with Conant, with one getting the 11th seed and the other the 12th. Either way, Mascenic should have a bye before traveling to a road playoff game on Oct. 27.
