Katrina Kenison will visit the Hancock Town Library to talk about her latest book, “Moments of Seeing: Reflections from an Ordinary Life” on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m.
In this collection of essays from her blog, Kenison shares stories of family dinners, the triumphs and tumult of parenting, the ups and downs of friendship, the challenges of marriage, and other topics.
She is the author of three books tracing the seasons of a woman’s life, including “The Gift of an Ordinary Day: A Mother’s Memoir.”
From 1990 until 2006, Kenison was the series editor of The Best American Short Stories, published annually by Houghton Mifflin. The mother of two grown sons, she lives with her husband in rural New Hampshire.
