Through the efforts of Peterborough and Sharon recyclers a total of 108.76 tons was recycled in the month of September.

Cardboard: 9.1
Mixed paper: 17.94
Plastics: 2.64
Aluminum cans: .6
Steel cans: .88
Food waste: 1.2
Glass: 21
Textiles: 7.44
Scrap Metal: 43.48
By recycling a total of 108.76 tons, $11,854.84 in disposal fees was avoided. Plus $6,892.77 in revenue was generated.
A total of $18,854.61 was saved.
