PETERBOROUGHShort film festival screens Monday

The 2016 New Hampshire High School Short Film Festival will screen at the Peterborough Community Theatre on Monday, Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m.

Launched in 2008 and presented by the New Hampshire Film and Television Office, the Festival has become one of the marquee film festivals in the state, fostering interest in filmmaking, encouraging media arts education in schools and rewarding future members of the industry for their craft. Twenty-seven student-produced short films were selected for the 2016 Festival, and the Film and Television Office is pleased to showcase them to moviegoers and aspiring young filmmakers alike.

Tickets are $5 per person and will be available at the theatre beginning at 5:30 p.m. the day of the event. Seating is limited to 95 attendees. Run time is 2 hours and 8 minutes.
