Milford Area Players will present a production of “Frost/Nixon” at the Amato Center with an opening performance on Friday, Oct. 14.

The Tony-award winning drama “Frost/Nixon” by Peter Morgan is set in 1977. The American people are still reeling from the Watergate scandal, the White House cover up, and Gerald Ford’s pardon of Richard Nixon. Nixon, now a retiree in southern California, is desperate for a way to rehabilitate his image, while playboy British talk show host David Frost needs to get back into the U.S. public eye.

David Fisch of Peterborough is a cast member.

Performances will be held on Oct. 14, 15, 21, and 22 at 8 p.m., and on Oct. 16 and 23 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for seniors and students. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Toadstool Bookshop in Milford, online at www.MilfordAreaPlayers.org, or at the door.
