The Dublin School Girls’ Soccer squad traveled to The Putney School on Wednesday for a rivalry match-up. Over the past two years Putney has gotten the better of Dublin, but the tides were changed on the pitch this day.
The Wildcats came out of the gate a bit flat and were caught on their heels early, but a tough resolve pushed them forward, and despite numerous chances on the goal, they found themselves tied 1-1 at halftime. Determined to not experience the same fate as the previous seasons, Dublin put on great offensive pressure, connected an inspiring passing game and cruised through the second stanza for the win.
Stella Davis led the scoring with 4 goals and 1 assist. She was supported by Bette Imhoff 1G, 1A, Adunni Abrams 1G, and Somali Green 1G. Zoe Hewitt made 6 saves in the win.
