Local artist Nicol Wander will lead a class on needle felting on Oct. 28 at the Ingalls Memorial Library. Every participant will create a unique two-sided heart to bring home. The felted hearts are about 2.5 inches wide with a ribbon attached for hanging and will make wonderful handmade ornaments – just in time for the holidays.
Wander will bring all the materials and tools needed, including a variety of colored wools for felting. A sharp needle is used in this creative process, so the class is for adults and young adults only. No children please.
The program will run from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., in the Children’s Room at the library. There is no cost to attend, but class size is limited to 20 participants. Call the library at 899-3303 for more information and/or to sign up.
