On Saturday, ConVal bass fishing team co-captains Lawton Fagiano and Tyler LeBlanc took home first place in the lunker largemouth category during the NHIAA State Bass Fishing Finals on Winnisquam Lake, with a 2.90 lb largemouth.
Fagiano and LeBlanc wrap up their final year with the ConVal Bass Team finishing in the top 10 in the state overall. The Cougars finished 7th overall; Keene High School landed four fish to take first place.
ConVal bass fishing had a great and much improved season, putting two boats in the Keene High Bass Tournament on the Connecticut River, qualifying for the state championship for the second time in four years and taking first Place in the Horace Lake Invitational.
