A community tradition in Greenfield since 1969 will return once again on Saturday, Oct. 1.
The 47th Annual Greenfield Harvest Fair, Community Tradition with a Twist, will be held at Greenfield’s Oak Park this year.
“The State Park has been so supportive, and we’re very excited to offer guests at the fair a glimpse into the natural beauty right here in the center of Greenfield,” Christine Souza, President of Greenfield Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization, which hosts the event, said in a news release.
More than 20 local crafters and vendors will be at the event, selling goods including speciality oils and vinegars, doll clothes, art work, handcrafted jewelry, needle work and woodwork.
For the second year, the event will include a Youth Vendor Zone, where children 12 and under are encouraged to sell their own homemade wares from 10:30 a.m. through noon.
The harvest fair will also include homemade foods, a White Elephant sale, and a silent auction and raffle that includes thousands of dollars worth of goods and services.
The fair will be held rain or shine and admission is free. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the students of Greenfield Elementary School.
