Naomi Wight and Mackenzie Parker-Christou each scored twice as the WLC girls’ soccer team beat Hinsdale 5-3 on Tuesday. Wight added two assists, Dani Bird had a goal and an assist and Julia Dupont had two assists. Abby LeBlanc had seven saves.
After the Warriors went up 4-0, they allowed Hinsdale back in the game; the Pacers scored on three corner kicks in a four-minute span. Then, WLCtook off the brakes and controlled the game the rest of the way.
The Warriors (5-5) travel to Sunapee (7-0-1) today at 6 p.m.
